Thousands of people waited patiently on June 6, 2009, to enter the Whiteman Air Force Base free airshow, Wings of Whiteman, and several Cass County Civil Air Patrol cadets were on hand to serve. With the great amount of visitors attending the event, trash clean-up topped the list for cadet jobs. The Missouri Wing hosted a recruiting booth for the entire state. Throughout the day a company of interested parents and future cadets inquired about the role of CAP in their communities. Visitors to the booth came from areas as far south as the Lake of the Ozarks and as far west as Kansas. Don't be surprised if you have an interested party show up at your next meeting!
